The roll-out of superfast broadband in north Lincolnshire looks set to go ahead at a rapid rate, following words from a group set up to oversee it.Having secured government and European funding to implement the latest technology, experts from North Lincolnshire Council and North East Lincolnshire Council are said by the Scunthorpe Telegraph to be plotting their next move.It is the aim of the local authorities to provide 90 per cent of premises in the South Bank area with at least 25 Mbps internet by 2015.Both residential and business broadband customers are sure to benefit from the scheme, with companies set to enjoy increasing efficiency levels and the potential to follow the latest working practices.It is not only in Lincolnshire where links to the web are improving, as the BBC told last week how Suffolk County Council is also preparing to carry out a raft of changes that will increase the internet speeds available to people and businesses in East Anglia.
