Landlines 'to disappear from British offices within five years'


The way Britain communicates is changing, particularly when it comes to telephony, as the latest research on the subject indicates. New statistics released by Virgin Media Business show 65 per cent of all chief information officers believe landline telephones will disappear from offices within five years. The company surveyed 5,000 people, with the majority admitting they do not expect to see the technology in use by 2017.
