Majority of London firms turn to flexible working during Olympics


With the Olympic Games now underway, many firms in the capital could today (July 30th) be facing the first working day in which commuters battle sports fans for train services and bus seats. The spectacular opening ceremony caught the attention on Friday and many events started over the weekend, but the potential chaos caused by millions of people descending on the city at once may only be realised today and over the rest of the week.

West End Wi-Fi to give mobile VoIP users a boost


A new free Wi-Fi service in London could provide numerous benefits to residents and visitors to the city during the Olympics Games, such as allowing them to use VoIP solutions when on the move. Some of the city's most iconic shopping and theatre districts will be covered by the scheme, which is the result of a partnership between network provider O2, Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
