Telappliant Nominated for Best Internet Telephony Award

Leading Internet telephony provider, Telappliant has been nominated for The Best Internet Telephony award for their VoIP service VoIPtalk (www.voiptalk.org) at the 11th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards, hosted by ISPA (www.ispa.org.uk), the Internet Service Providers' Association.

The ISPAs - the UK Internet industry awards - are unique as they are awarded to people and organisations in the industry following rigorous testing and an independent judging process and reflect the broad nature of the internet service provider sector.

Telappliant's VoIPtalk service is one of the largest VoIP networks in the UK, and offers an extensive services and product portfolio, which has been developed and tailored to benefit its customers, enabling them to choose a package or solution that suits them.

VoIPtalk is a feature rich consumer VoIP offering, with features such as voicemail-to-email, time of day forwarding, call divert, inbound number routing, and call plans designed specifically with consumers in mind. All products offer exceptional customer service and value for money.

As part of VoIPtalk's broad nature of service, they also sell VoIP hardware products such as IP phones, adaptors and routers that are compatible with their service yet not locked to it, therefore not restricting consumers in their choice of VoIP service provider.

The winners will be announced on 9th July at a glittering awards ceremony hosted at the Grosvenor Marriott Hotel.

ISPA Secretary General, Nicholas Lansman said, "Each year the ISPAs rewards the UK's top Internet companies in each category after thorough testing and judging of each entrant. I would like to congratulate all of the finalists and look forward to welcoming them to the Awards dinner."

Telappliant CEO, Tan Aksoy said: "To be nominated for the Best Internet Telephony award is fantastic and just goes to prove our dedication to providing a VoIP service that offers both value for money and quality of service". He went on to say "this is what we have always strived for and will continue to do so".

Telappliant to launch Speech2Text service powered by SpinVox

Telappliant's Speech2Text service is powered by SpinVox, the global leader in voice to content messaging. Combining VoIP with Voice to Text conversion simplifies business communications significantly, improving productivity and efficiency. SpinVox converts voice message audio into digital format, delivering a unified voice message box via Telappliant.

Benefits for business people
Business people can convert downtime to productive time because they don't have to spend time retrieving, listening and re-listening to voicemails to write down vital information. Addresses and telephone numbers are all included in the converted message which is delivered within minutes. Users can sort and prioritise messages easily, staying on top of their communications. The content of every voice message can now be viewed instantly as well as when it was sent and by whom – all seen on screen.

Benefits for the team
Speech2Text enables better collaboration within teams and improved responsiveness to colleagues and clients, resulting in faster decision-making.

It increases workflow efficiency by allowing users to remain fully functional members of their teams whilst in meetings or out of the office. Team members are able to pioritise easily and respond where urgent approvals are required; enabling individuals to continue tasks following an immediate response to a voicemail.

Benefits for enterprise
Telappliant Speech2Text can also support businesses in meeting their compliance obligations by ensuring desktop and mobile voicemails are now in text form and can be shared, stored and searched.

"Telappliant has the business insight that enterprises need and we believe that Speech2Text powered by SpinVox offers flexible, innovative and proven systems to maximise our customers' performance and give them a leading-edge in productivity" says, Tan Aksoy, CEO, Telappliant.

"We've proven that it's at least seven times quicker to read a voicemail message than it is to dial-in and listen to traditional voicemail," says Christina Domecq, CEO and co-founder, SpinVox. "Speech2Text now offers a truly unified mailbox that saves time for individuals and offers enterprises considerable cost savings per employee."

SpinVox recently announced that it has converted more than 100 million voice messages to text in the past two years.
