VoIP solutions 'increasingly attractive to small businesses'

Analysts have been quick to lavish praise on VoIP, remarking on its growing importance in the business world.

Susan Campbell, contributing editor at TMC.net, is the latest of those, as she said the quality of VoIP solutions has now improved and even small firms are becoming increasingly interested in adopting the technology.

The expert quoted the Telecom Circle report that said the ability to stream calls from anywhere in the world at a low cost and with such ease makes VoIP a must.

She identified a "generous" supply of bandwidth from a broadband connection as the key to ensuring high-quality calls.

VisionGain this week released a report that concluded mobile VoIP is to expand rapidly in the future to generate revenue of $36 billion (£22.6 billion) by 2016.
