It found that it is in developed markets – such as the UK – that mobile VoIP will experience the most significant growth in the near future.

This is the result of 3G and 4G broadband connections being available after hi-tech roll-outs in leading nations.

Access to top-quality business broadband points will also enable developers to make the greatest progress with VoIP solutions in these locations.

Desktop VoIP hardware will continue to be important though, especially in less developed regions where the uptake of mobile technology is not as widespread.

Infonetics Research recently predicted the number of companies and individuals using VoIP solutions over the years to come will rise dramatically, hitting 410 million in 2015.
