Popularity of VoIP solutions 'increases every year'

Businesses have many reasons to switch to VoIP solutions from standard telephone equipment, from cost to efficiency and quality.

It appears that a growing number are realising these advantages on a frequent basis, according to the latest comments from Dave Dadds, deputy chairman of the Federation of Communication Services.

He noted that the take-up of VoIP seems to increase every single year, despite the fact it has now been around for "some time".

"There's some big deployments and small deployments among all sorts of businesses these days and certainly it's a serious consideration for any business that's looking to replace their telephony systems," Mr Dadds stated.

He added that there is certainly a "momentum" to VoIP solutions that has come from the increase in deployments.

Infonetics Research recently found that the VoIP market is due to boom over the coming years, predicting annual growth in the sector will be 56.6 per cent between 2010 and 2015.
