JLS have managed to clean up at an award ceremony put on by broadband provider BT.

At this year's Digital Music Awards, the pop band picked up a gong for best group for the second year in a row, as well as earning an accolade for best video for their recent track performed with Tinie Tempah.

However, JLS were not the only ones celebrated at the show, with Olly Murs gaining an award for best male artist and Jessie J for best female.

Similarly, Adele was given a gong for best independent artist along with Bruno Mars, who was handed the prize for best international artist.

Commenting on the results, Lee Thompson, BT Vision's head of music, said: "Not only have the awards celebrated incredible new home grown talent, but this year saw a huge amount of votes."

This comes after BT announced the status of its fibre optic broadband roll-out in the UK and revealed that Dumfries & Galloway is set to benefit from new connections by spring 2012.
