Digium has been granted an industry accolade, recognising the value of its
VoIP hardware to customers.
The 2011 North American SMB Unified Communications Customer Value Enhancement Award from Frost & Sullivan is part of the analyst's Best Practices Awards.
In a post on its Inside the Asterisk blog, Digium admits it was "a busy week" last week, with Shannon Belew detailing some of the events that have taken place.
As well as sending representatives to San Diego in order to collect the award, it continued development of its VoIP hardware.
The latest progress includes the launch of Switchvox 5.0, with fixed-
mobile convergence and enhanced mobility.
It is these features that have fans of the company's VoIP hardware "buzzing" in the run-up to the 2011 AstriCon conference.
"We have managed to have some fun this week and even picked up a few kudos along the way," writes Ms Belew on the blog.
