Aastra scoops top vendor award

Aastra, a global provider of IP telephony solutions, has received the Enterprise Telephony Vendor of the Year Award at the second annual Network World Middle East Awards, reports callcentreclick.com.

Held at the Address Hotel in Dubai Marina, the ceremony celebrates the Middle East's most distinguished networking companies across a number of categories.

The judging panel was comprised of four IT experts who selected Aastra from a broad field of competitors.

According to Jeevan Thankappan, senior editor of Network World Middle East magazine, Aastra outperformed its rivals on a number of key metrics, including product innovation, quality of service and dedication to working in this area of the world.

Aastra has provided IP telephony solutions to a number of reputable customers in the Middle East including Korek Telecom, Bank Pasargad and HiConnect Call.

The company is now ranked third in the EMEA and continues to expand, adding further channel partners and distributors across the region, boosting its position as a prominent VoIP solutions supplier.
