Digium to reward best use of Asterisk hardware

The customer, partner or developer who makes the best use of Asterisk hardware between now and August 1st stands to win a rewards package from Digium.

Bryan Johns, community director for the Asterisk hardware producer, writes on the Inside the Asterisk blog that innovative uses of the IP telephony solutions can already be submitted for consideration in the competition.

In order to stand a chance of winning, entrants must satisfy a variety of criteria in order to determine how successful their use of the system has been.

These include measurable competitive advantage or return on investment, any technology challenges that were faced and overcome, and the extent to which processes were improved as a result.

Prizes include industry recognition, a listing on the Digium website and press mentions, along with a trip to the AstriCon conference where the winner is due to be announced.

The convention highlights the impact of the Asterisk community, with Digium among its platinum sponsors.
