Companies which use Google Chat and Google Voice can learn how to integrate them into Asterisk solutions as part of a new Digium webinar series.

Asterisk Tech Tips is a new fortnightly guide from Digium, with new episodes due to be made available at midday on alternate Thursdays.

The first instalment is due to be published on March 24th, with Google Voice and Google Chat the main topics for coverage.

Malcolm Davenport, senior product manager for Asterisk solutions and for Digium's open-source project Asterisk SCF, is to go through the details of how to connect to the services and make calls using them.

However, the session is not only a chance to learn about the Google applications, as an open question and answer opportunity is scheduled to follow it.

This allows those who attend the live version of the webinar to ask about anything they want, providing it relates to Asterisk solutions.
