Grandstream VoIP phones named best customer premises equipment by ITSPA

The Internet Telephony Service Providers Association (ITSPA) has named the GXV3140 model of multimedia VoIP phones from Grandstream as the recipient of its 2011 Best Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) award.

Grandstream was one of six finalists in the category of Best VoIP CPE, alongside other VoIP phones like Digium's Switchvox system.

A special reception was held on Monday, March 7th to announce the winners, with the news put on general release the following day.

ITSPA chairman Eli Katz says: "It has been another competitive awards nomination process, incorporating more entrants from across [the] industry."

With the reception for the award-winners taking place on the eve of the Unified Communications show at the Olympia convention centre, Mr Katz adds that this could prove to be a busy week for those present at both.

These were the third ITSPA Awards, presenting prizes in six categories designed to span the VoIP and unified communications disciplines.
