Grandstream enjoyed "successful" 2010

VoIP phone provider Grandstream "has a lot to be proud of" in 2010, according to one writer.

Writing for TMCnet, Stefanie Mosca said the company - which was founded in 2002 - accomplished a great deal in a fruitful year.

It showcased the GXV3140 phone at the Miami ITEXPO in January, then was name-checked by a US senator who hailed the enterprise for helping him win his seat the following month, the analyst stated.

Later in February, she continued, Internet Telephony Magazine honoured two of the firm's products with its 2009 Product of the Year Award.

November saw the introduction of both the GXV3615 Cube IP Camera and the cost-effective desktop SIP telephone GXP1450, Ms Mosca added.

To end the year, the expert concluded, Grandstream announced impending release of the GXV3175 desktop IP multimedia telephone, featuring a 7" touchscreen.

"It supports video conference, integrated PoE and WiFi and a variety of built-in rich media applications for home or office," she said.
