Hosted PBX solutions can significantly reduce the costs of office telephony, according to a technology expert.

Writing for TMCnet, Carolyn Dawson stated hosted PBX cuts out the need for high levels of capital investment and can greatly reduce the unit costs of line rental and individual calls.

Monthly deals also make planning and cash-flow management easier for businesses, she continued, while costly on-site maintenance charges are eliminated entirely.

Perhaps most importantly, Ms Dawson argued, the flexibility of hosted PBX means it is completely customisable for every enterprise and can grow or shrink as circumstances require, minimising resource wastage.
