A Korean firm has developed a new device which will enable users to make
VoIP service calls without an internet connection.
HelloDial has created a specially designed adapter for traditional
landline phones which plugs directly into a phone socket.
Once the hardware has been connected, it acts as a VoIP private branch exchange, allowing customers to benefit from the cost-savings of
IP telephony solutions.
This bypasses the need for an internet connection as the adapter facilitates all VoIP functionality
Customers can also access
VoIP solutions on the move as the vendor has created a similar
mobile private branch exchange product.
HelloDial unveiled the new hardware at the GITEX technology conference in Dubai, which runs until 21st October.
The 30th anniversary of the global event is being held in the emirate's World Trade.
