Canadian law firm saves money with VoIP solutions

A Canadian law firm has reduced the costs of its phone bill by switching to VoIP solutions, it has been revealed.

Toronto-based Muscovitch Law Firm upgraded its traditional phone system in February to Ring Central's hosted VoIP service, reports itbusiness.ca.

The company has profited from reduced calling charges following its move from fixed-line provider Bell Canada, with Ring Central offering packages for around $25 (£15) a month.

Zak Muscovitch of Muscovitch Law Firm revealed that one of the main benefits of the package is the voice mail greetings which are recorded by professional actors.

He told the news provider: "It projects a much larger company image than I would otherwise have if I did it or my wife did it."

The technology also enables Mr Muscovitch to access calls remotely as incoming traffic can be diverted to a mobile phone, laptop or desktop computer.

"I get voice mail without having to log into anywhere," he added.
