VoIP services offer 'effective' conference calling

Firms can access effective conference calling services with VoIP solutions, it has been claimed.

Kevin Meaney, a telecommunications expert, revealed that the technology can handle more than one call over a single line.

VoIP services compress information during a call which allows more voice data to be transmitted at any one time.

This enables business users to communicate more effectively as multiple employees can enter a conference call, rather than having to make numerous calls to different staff members.

Mr Meany also highlighted the other benefits of IP telephony solutions. He wrote on ezinearticles.com: "There are various features which are included like caller ID, contact lists, voice mail, extra-virtual numbers, etc.

"It also supports fast response to customers that will provide better quality of service to customers."

Companies could also consider upgrading to VoIP as the call packages are often cheaper than traditional phone services, he added.
