A US firm has released a new VoIP solutions headset which could improve the sound quality of calls.

The new H760 wireless headset, developed by computer peripherals designer Logitech, features noise cancellation software which can eliminate background noise.

This allows users to continue their VoIP conversation in a crowded area, while corporate customers can use the technology in a busy call centre.

Furthermore, the hardware includes a built-in equaliser that enhances the sound quality of IP telephony solutions.

Brian Yalung, writing for nexus404.com, claimed the new headset is more flexible than many of its rivals due to its wireless capability.

He said: "They are good for use of up to 40 feet (12 metres), allowing users some flexibility rather than being stationed in one place."

The H760 also includes a quick-access audio control to allow customers to easily adjust the sound of calls.

It is currently available to pre-order for £89.99.
