Firms can 'budget' with VoIP solutions

VoIP solutions are ideal for businesses as they allow users to accurately estimate their phone bill, it has been claimed.

Traditional landline operators charge customers for each call, while even many 'unlimited' packages are only applicable during off-peak periods.

Brian Lakeman, writing for ezinearticles.com, expressed his belief that firms will be able to stick to a budget with IP telephony solutions as all-inclusive deals are available.

He said: "You will be able choose all the features you want and have the benefit of knowing in advance exactly how much your phone bill will be every month. You will not need to comb over your bill and figure out which phone calls are valid."

Small and medium-sized enterprises may profit from the technology in particular as they will be required to stick to a strict budget.

Mr Lakeman also underlined the various features which can be added to a VoIP service such as multiple lines, caller ID and call forwarding.
