The company has ordered 90 double decker Airbus A380 planes which will offer full Wi-Fi internet access during long-haul flights. Customers will therefore be allowed to use IP telephony solutions to make cheap calls to friends and relatives while in the air. Tim Clark, president of the airline, claimed the firm are consistently attempting to improve their on-board entertainment. He said: "Our decision to install a full set of in-flight connectivity services is part of our ongoing effort to provide customers with the real-time access to information that they demand." The internet connection will be provided by Swiss firm OnAir, who have operated 120,000 fully connected flights since its formation in 2005. The scheme is set to go live across the fleet of A380 planes in June 2012. © Adfero LtdRelated articlesCurrently there are no related articles.ShareComments![]() Be the first to write a comment!
