Australian firms adopt VoIP solutionsPosted 1 month 3 weeks ago in: General VoIP ![]() Telappliant News: 2010-07-13 Rate this article: An Australian VoIP service provider has reported rapid growth as more businesses adopt the technology.
M5 Networks Australia has revealed call volumes increased by 50 per cent and its customer base expanded by 20 per cent in the past year. The firm claims companies are introducing VoIP to maintain contact with remote employees in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Matthew Wilson, managing director of M5, expected the growth to continue in the future. "The market will expand quite significantly over the next few years. Infrastructure developments like the national broadband network will only accelerate this growth by bringing in new players and fostering innovation in business VoIP," he said. Mr Wilson also noted how businesses can take advantage of call reporting – a feature which monitors the volume and cost of calls, as well as the most frequently dialled numbers. This can improve efficiency as firms can adjust their operations to cope with demand. © Adfero LtdRelated articlesShareComments![]() Be the first to write a comment!
