Businesses to benefit from new mobile VoIP application

A new mobile VoIP application has been launched which could benefit businesses.

Communications provider Media5 Corporation has announced the release of its Media5-fone VoIP SIP Mobile Softphone V2.2 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad models.

The application has been designed specifically for firms, as it includes a number of business-class features including call waiting and voicemail notification.

Users will also benefit from higher-quality VoIP calls as developers have integrated high-definition voice solutions into the new application.

Pascal Dore, mobility product line manager at Media5, claimed the new software is the best of its kind on the market.

"The combination of ease of use on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, access from virtually anywhere via Wi-Fi or 3G connection, and the delivery of HD Voice Audio Quality offers the user a seamless communications experience," he said.

Mr Dore also confirmed that the firm will be adding more features and making improvements to the application.
