New US mobile VoIP application could boost VoIP trafficPosted 1 year 11 months ago in: General VoIP ![]() Telappliant News: 2010-06-22 Rate this article: A new mobile phone application has been launched in the US which could boost VoIP traffic. The Whistle Phone VoIP app, which is compatible with a range of products, including the iPhone, Mac and Windows PC, allows users to make free calls to anywhere within America. Customers can make huge savings on their mobile phone bills, while they will also benefit from superior call quality, compared to that of traditional cellular calls. Holidaymakers can also make huge savings when abroad as the service offers competitive international rates. The move could boost VoIP traffic as the software can be del used on the iPad and iPod touch - turning both units into VoIP handsets. Before each call is made, a 15 second audio advert is played, and the application itself also features some non-obtrusive commercial for a variety of firms. Whistle Phone can be used wherever there is a 3G or Wi-Fi internet connection. Related articlesShareComments![]() Be the first to write a comment! New comments* Comments may be moderated. |
