VoIP solutions to profit from super-fast broadbandPosted 1 year 9 months ago in: Broadband ![]() Telappliant News: 2010-05-06 Rate this article: IP telephony solutions could benefit from plans to give businesses access to high-speed broadband. A post-election business growth agenda has been drawn up by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), which insists the incoming government should deliver an immediate plan for next-generation business broadband. This development would result in more reliable and higher quality VoIP communications, while the new infrastructure would be able to cope with the growth in VoIP traffic. David Frost, director general of the BCC, said: "During the first 90 days after an election, an incoming Government must make concrete proposals to commit to improving Britains energy, transport and digital infrastructure." The 12-point proposal aims to help maintain the economic recovery by giving businesses more freedom and support. In addition to the planned advancement in broadband speeds, the BCC claim the future government should cancel the planned rise in employer national insurance and freeze wages in the public sector.
