Personal computer company Lenovo has launched two new laptops that aim to enrich the experience of using IP telephony solutions.

The new ThinkPad SL410 and SL510 laptops are designed to make using VoIP solutions "rich and seamless", Lenovo has said.

The SL410 and SL510 are also aimed at the small to medium business market. Both models feature 16:9 high-definition screens and sport a matte-finish cover.

Lenovo has increased the resolution of the cameras, added a microphone mute button and improved the digital microphone of its new SL laptops in order to enhance the experience of using them with VoIP phones.

The new ThinkPad's are powered by Intel Core2Duo processors, support HDMI and VGA output for high-definition and standard external monitor displays and offer Wi-Fi, ethernet and also optional Bluetooth technologies.

Dell recently launched a new range of laptops that could encourage increased adoption of IP telephony solutions by business users.
