Switch to VoIP solutions to cease landline bluesPosted 1 year 9 months ago in: General VoIP ![]() Telappliant News: 2010-04-19 Rate this article: Consumers could consider switching to IP telephony solutions if they are not happy with the level of service they are receiving from their landlinetelephone provider. A recent poll by uSwitch.com found that the newest telephone facility providers are offering customers a better service. This suggests that phone users may have a better experience using a VoIP provider. Ceri Stanaway, spokesperson for Which?, said customers may be considering the general performance of all services which many new entrants to the market offer when evaluating the telephone facility they receive. Ms Stanaway said that, with many new telecommunications players offering triple play bundles that incorporate phone, internet and TV, "people's satisfaction with their home phone service may be linked into their views on their other services, such as TV". "If you're not happy with your provider, then switch. Don't assume that all providers are the same," she added. According to research published by Which? last month, it is vital that information on early termination fees on home phone contracts is easy for consumers to find. This would make the process of switching to a VoIP carrier a lot simpler. Related articlesShareComments![]() Be the first to write a comment! New comments* Comments may be moderated. |
