Virgin Media amps up broadband marketingPosted 2 years 3 months ago in: Broadband ![]() Telappliant News: 2010-02-17 Rate this article: Virgin Media are planning to push for further connectivity - a move which would bring more users the broadband required to make use of VoIP hardware and VoIP solutions when communicating. Marketing Week has revealed that Virgin has encouraged all the separate agencies which provide it with marketing services to a special meeting to re-pitch ideas. The company is said to be keen to integrate its different marketing areas in order to improve the coherence of its advertising strategy. Andy Stockwell, Virgin Media's director of brand and marketing, told Marketing Week that: "All of our agencies have done and continue to do some outstanding work and have helped us set Virgin Media's market leading ultra-fast broadband, TV and mobile apart from our competitors." By pushing its products in a marketing push it is thought that Virgin Media could increase the take-up of broadband among consumers and therefore ultimately increase the level of VoIP traffic over its networks.
