As the result of a deal with BT Openzone, ten client locations in bars and restaurants will be equipped with the technology and the service could be expanded to over 2,500 more if it proves successful. Cashbox clients include Abacus, The Wall, Digress and Agenda in the City of London, as well as Tiger Tiger sites in cities such as Glasgow, London and Cardiff. Ciaran Morton, chief executive of Cashbox, said: "As a customer focussed business, we are continually looking for ways to extend our service offering and with exciting initiatives such as this we are providing our customers with additional opportunities to utilise the ATM machines." He added that more people used the company's cash machines in May this year than in any other month previously, suggesting a Wi-Fi service could prove popular.
