Entiva Systems has developed a new wireless box designed to offer a wide range of applications for use on holiday, with email, media streaming and VoIP solutions all on offer and accessible through a touch-screen interface, reports newelectronics.co.uk. The device is aimed at holidaymakers who want to stay connected even when they go on holiday, as broadband is deemed increasingly crucial to everyday life for many web users. Simon Coe, managing director of Entiva, told the website: "People crave their creature comforts when they are away and that now includes all manner of technology gadgets and gizmos." He added that his intention is to appeal to a wide customer base by offering flexible access without having to trail wires through multiple boxes. In related news, around 20 per cent of adults who do not currently have a broadband connection are planning to buy a service within the next six months, according to an Ofcom report.
