Aastra VoIP handphones boost Telappliant's sales

Sales of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Aastra handphones are booming at leading service provider Telappliant, it has emerged.

According to VoIP-News, the company was recently named SIP Handset Distributor of the Year by Aastra for the third time in a row.

Much of its sales success has been via direct channels and so the company has also announced plans to expand its sales channels.

Bosses at Telappliant hope to have agreements in place with over one hundred mobile phone product dealers by the end of July to implement a new stronger sales strategy.

Dealers signing up for the programme will receive access to an open platform application which can be uploaded onto the handphones.

They will also be able to receive a percentage of the ongoing revenue drawn from each handphone sold.

In other news, president of ScanSource Communications Buck Baker recently told Business Solutions that value added resellers have been enjoying the benefits of VoIP as a valued and cost effective solution.
