IT Expo shows VoIP is alive and wellPosted 1 year 7 months ago in: General VoIP ![]() Telappliant News: 2009-02-06 Rate this article: A recent successful telecoms industry conference in Florida has indicated that there are good times ahead for VoIP providers, a leading expert claims. The Internet Telephony Conference & Expo (IT Expo) event held in Miami Beach this week has experienced strong attendance from a range of industry quarters. Tmcnet.com group editorial director Greg Galitzine said that this conference acts as "a barometer for the industry". Mr Galitzine revealed that the exhibit hall was "full of vendors" and that both the conference sessions and meeting rooms were all full. He claimed that the successful discussions and expositions at the event meant that "it's certainly not a stretch to say that the industry is far from dead". "In fact, I would say the industry is positioned well for success, even through this turbulent economic time," he added. The next IT Expo convention will run at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from October 27th to 29th 2009.
