CMYK Digital Solutions, an office and IT supplier, has chosen to take advantage of the cost-saving benefits and seamless communications of a VoIP solution.

The company has recently seen a spell of rapid expansion, with its team growing to 54 staff and new premises opening in Glasgow, Manchester and Aberdeen.

It expects the cost-savings of the VoIP solution to cover the initial outlay within three years.

The company's service operations director, David Crosby, explained that the VoIP network had been installed across the business.

"We now work smarter and have some quantifiable benefits to justify the spend in what are undoubtedly troubled times for the economy as a whole," he said.

"Our cost savings are in excess of £45,000 and we expect payback of less than three years for the network overall."

An additional benefit is that the company now just have one IP PBX in Edinburgh, where it has centralised all of its IT management systems, meaning the IT staff can manage more productively.
