Fring offers new VoIP service with The CloudPosted on: 2007-05-22, in: General VoIP ![]() Telappliant News: 2007-05-22 Rate this article: Customers will be able to enjoy free mobile phone calls when they sign up to Fring and The Cloud's Wi-Fi network. Under the terms of the new package, mobile Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) users with Fring will be able to take advantage of automatic broadband internet access. Using the Fring VoIP service, consumers will be able to make calls using a number of services, including Skype, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger and Twitter. Commenting upon the new service, Roy Timor-Rousso, product marketing spokesperson for Fring, said that the auto-connection with The Cloud's Wi-Fi network covers 7,500 locations across the UK as well as the City of London. He also said it would give Fring users "easier freedom of movement to talk with VoIP and chat with unaided internet access from their mobile handsets".
