'A lot can be gained' from VoIP solutionsBusinesses that use phones as their primary communication can gain a lot of switching to VoIP solutions from conventional PSTN systems, it has been claimed. Kirsten Kiya, a blogger on Best Syndication News, says that VoIP solutions utilise a package of switching methods for sending the calls, which is more efficient than PSTN services. This lowers costs as the unique VoIP services are not as regulated as PSTN calls and also enhances call productivity. "The business VoIP solutions even efficiently deliver flexibility in calls, which assures the development of the facilitating organisations, regardless of their geographical locations," she states. Ms Kiya adds that IP telephony solutions are ideal for businesses that require international communication as there are even bigger savings to be had when comparing VoIP to the normal cost of calls abroad. Extra benefits like call conferencing and call forwarding are also mentioned. She also explains what hardware is necessary to begin using the technology, listing VoIP hardware like VoIP phones, routers and switches. Posted on: 2008-07-22, in: General VoIP |
