Cost main benefit of VoIP solutions according to expertThe benefits of switching to a VoIP solution have been explained by a leading expert. Ramesh Manghirmalani, writing for merinews, said that the main reason small and medium businesses (SMBs) opt for VoIP solutions is because of the cost savings. Expansion costs are also lower with VoIP hardware and VoIP solutions provide SMBs with the same features that larger organisations enjoy. "Systems provide small to large businesses with all the abilities and features that are available to large enterprises while providing the potential to reduce long-term operating costs considerably," said Mr Manghirmalani. Explaining that IP PBX systems can cost as little as $700 (£450) to install, the price element was thoroughly stressed. He did warn about sacrificing quality to get the cheapest deal, however. "It is more important to make sure that your system has the basic features that you require now for the operation of your enterprise and for its future growth than to drive the cost to the absolute bare minimum." Businesses in Qatar received a boost today when the government there announced that there were no laws that prohibit the use of VoIP. Newspaper articles in the country had recently questioned the legality of the technology. Posted on: 2008-07-21, in: General VoIP |
