Eclipse Internet unveils customisable broadband serviceA flexible broadband service that can be adapted to the "individual online needs" of customers has been released. Eclipse Internet claims users will be able to prioritise certain web traffic such as streaming, gaming, peer-to-peer and browsing in order to ensure they only pay for the services they require. Mark Thomas, head of sales and marketing at Eclipse, declared the platform would ensure customers receive faster, more efficient connections. He said: "Broadband users will be able to customise their service to suit their usage so home workers can optimise their broadband to achieve the best possible connection to their company VPN." Residential packages with a 1GB limit are currently available from £9.95 a month for the first three months, rising to £13.95 thereafter. A 10GB service "Home Select" is available for £17.95, while a 50GB monthly package is priced at £29.95. The firm is also offering services tailored to meet demand from businesses.
