Pirelli Broadband provides gateway box to Alice France

Alice France has signed an agreement with Pirelli Broadband Solutions for the latter to provide broadband gateways to the ISP.

Alice France is a division of Telecom Italia that supplies broadband services in France

Pirelli will provide the new AliceBox generation DRG-AE225G, which will enable broadband and media centre applications such as high-speed internet, IPTV, VoIP and Wi-Fi connectivity with automatic setup and sharing of an external USB storage device or printer from any point of the home network.

Daniel Fava, chief business officer of Telecom Italia in France told IPTV News: "We are very pleased to have concluded this agreement with Pirelli as supplier of multi-play terminals, having demonstrated their technological leadership, flexible and service-oriented approach to meet our requirements."

"This new AliceBox demonstrates our ability to offer to our subscribers a new experience with broadband technologies, adding a new dimension in high-quality internet access and multimedia communications."
