VoIP industry offers job growthJobs available in the VoIP sector are set to soar and leap ahead of all other industries, a recent survey revealed. Research carried out by IBIS World estimated that in the following few years vacancies in the industry will grow by 19.4 per cent. The increasing amount of jobs will be matched by a 21.8 per cent growth in the wages of VoIP workers. Analysts are optimistic about the future of the industry and partially put it down to the public's thirst for innovative technology. George Van Horn, senior analyst at IBIS World, said: "The outlook for VoIP is good because household broadband penetration is still rising, facilitating greater use of digital services and helping improve the call quality of industry services." Shortly behind the VoIP sector was the fashion design industry in second place with a job growth of 5.2 per cent. Bridge and Tunnel construction came in third and physical therapy sector 4th.
