'World's first integrated TV 3G data card' launchedA portable USB data card that will allow users to access mobile television and broadband while on the move has reportedly been launched at the CeBIT technology conference in Germany. IT Pro reports that the company behind the datacard, Huawei Technologies, says the device is the first 3G data card in the world to have integrated mobile TV. The card plugs into PCs or laptops via their USB slot and offers maximum download speeds of up to 7.2mbps and upload speeds of 2mbps. IT Pro said Huawei did not specify a price for the device, sale dates or what mobile TV standard it will use. Huawei also recently showcased its products at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The site quotes Huawei's mobile network president Yu Cheng Dong as saying: "Mobile network technology changes so rapidly that we are constantly having to design innovate solutions today that meet the future needs of the telecommunications industry" CeBIT is a technology fair held in Hannover, Germany.
