GenNext launches new VoIP phone network for SoHoVoIP phone manufacturer GenNext Technology has announced the worldwide launch of its new small business network solution. Specifically created for the small office/home office (SoHo) market, the system includes a cordless phone and wireless router which works with both web-based and SIP-based VoIP services. Additionally, users get piece of mind that their service will not drop out due to power failure as the system comes with an uniterruptible power supply, which is monitored to protect against spikes which might damage the system. According to GenNext, the new solution solves three problems for the SoHo market by being affordable, providing good signal quality and removing the risk of a power outage. "I had this idea several years ago but overcoming the QoS (quality of service) issue was just too difficult back then," said Harry Cochran, chief executive of GenNext, in a press statement. The GenNext Priority 1 network solution will be sold through the company's worldwide distributors, while the firm works on its plans to manufacturer Voice over WiFi mobile phones in the near future.
