Splicecom launches new IP PBX rangeBusiness VoIP and telephone system manufacturer Splicecom has announced that its new series of IP PBX is now available. The Launch of the 'maximiser 5' range builds up the system capacity of the PBX modules to 10,000 - double that of earlier models - while the lowest entry level system has been reduced in size (and price) to four extensions. Splicecom said of their new product that the range makes it "very easy" to create a system specifically tailored to a customers needs "without the need for a complicated configuration tool, long and costly training courses, or expensive pre-sales engineers". Commenting on the launch, Steve Walker, managing director at communications provider IP Integration, said: "Connectivity, scalability and flexibility are all terms that are very much over used and over hyped in our industry." But he added that the maximiser system does these terms justice as "here is a single product range which we can use to address the needs of any customer – be they small or large, with simple or sophisticated business telephony needs". Splicecom's maximiser 5 series provides equal support to IP, analogue and GSM phones, as well as numerous connectivity options including SIP and ISDN. Posted on: 2007-06-08, in: Networking hardware |
