Number Porting:
- Ensure all porting requests are added onto Porting manager in Breathecall
- Submit all porting requests to the most appropriate carrier (Magrathea, Gamma, AQL)
- Liaise with carrier and customer in event of rejection, including re-submission
- Process any additional orders i.e. rejection costs, ports that have to be split into more than one order etc.
- Manage all communications to customers relating to their port
RMAs:
- Raise new orders for replacement units
- Raise credit notes for returned units
- Arrange exchange for RMA units deemed faulty
- Ensure returned unit is returned to stock correctly- ex-demo, as new etc.
- Ensure RMA manager is updated with correct information i.e. credit note numbers, order numbers etc.
Orders:
- Process orders from start to finish - create order, take payment, make sure items are despatched correctly
- Tracking orders - following up with couriers to ensure items are delivered in a timely manner, chase up 'lost' orders
- Ensuring customers are kept informed regarding product availability
- Ensure web orders are delivered and invoiced on Access
- For service orders enter the provisioning request on deployment manager for the deployment team to provision the service and accounts to set up the monthly billing
E-mails:
- Monitor the Info, Customer Services and Porting folders
- Fax distribution
- Respond to all customer services emails answered within 24 hours
- Make sure all customer queries are forwarded to the appropriate departments where required
Voxbone migrations:
- Managing the migration from Voxbone to Telappliant including order processing, taking first month payment and entering subscription set up on Deployment Manager
General:
- First point of contact for all VoIPtalk related enquiries.
- General administration- clearing accounts, providing advice regarding VoIPtalk website, including sign ups, cancellations etc.
- Processing directory enquiries submissions
- Online fraud checking
- Assisting Sales Support with order processing in busy periods
- Providing holiday cover for Sales Support
- Some despatch of orders from the office including packing and liasing with couriers
- Ad hoc admin

Telappliant is seeking a talented and experienced software and systems tester/analyst. The candidate will have a background in web, software and systems testing, analysis and documentation and will be working alongside the development team to proactively promote good testing and documentation practices. The successful candidate will cover the full test life cycle, including analysing specifications, requirements, functional and design specifications and developing and execute test plans.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Collect, understand, and communicate the technical requirements for the project, and translate these into functional specifications.
- Create detailed test plans from business and technical requirements.
- Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts.
- Prepare and maintain test plans for use on automated testing tools.
- Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Provide estimates and feedback to the Development Manager for project scheduling purposes.
- Provide daily reports to the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, issues, risks and dependencies.
- Assist in the production of requirement definitions, progress reports and other related project documentations.
- Document existing and new system and software architecture and designs.
- Document and develop user and system technical requirements on existing and new projects.
- Ensure that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met.
- Write user manuals.
- Provide training to users of new systems.
Skills and attributes:
- Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes.
- Proven experience of testing complex user interfaces.
- Detailed knowledge of both Manual and Automated Testing for OSS/BSS systems, Ecommerce websites, SharePoint and other CMS toolsets.
- Experience of testing using an automated test tool such as QTP, SilkTest, Selenium, Junit, Webload, TestComplete, Concordion.
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
- Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex technical and system processes.
- Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for complex systems.
- A proven track record in Software Development.
- Proven experience interacting directly with end users.
- Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, well organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively, assertively and comfortably with all levels of management and staff and external organisations.
- Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Any knowledge and experience of VoIP, Asterisk, LAMPs and Java development is highly desirable.
- Any knowledge and experience of system administration of LAMP, UNIX, VMware, SAN Storage and Datacentre diagnostics is highly desirable.
A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years directly related work experience is required, plus the ability to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills & abilities.

We are currently looking to develop our Global Services division and are recruiting strong sales people with a can-do attitude and a hunger for generating new business.
The Role:
- A driven and motivated New Business Sales Executive is required to sell our full Telecom solutions portfolio including hardware, IP PBX, SIP termination, inbound numbering and white label solutions.
- This Telecoms / Telco position focuses on driving new business forward within London.
- The Sales Executive will be selling to the SME, generating their own business. Occasional extra leads will be given to consistent performers.
- This role involves working to realistic targets with very strong incentives in place.
Key Experience Required:
- You should have worked at least 1 year in sales within the telecoms space.
- Experience of selling telecoms products or services is crucial.
- Ideally, applicants will have experience of selling voice over IP services and solutions.
- New business experience is essential, with a proven track record both on the phone and face-to-face.
- We are looking for someone with good sales qualities with an eye for the future - this role will evolve and progress for the right candidate with the necessary hunger.
- Key attributes associated with this role include being professional, having good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The suitable candidate will have experience selling telecoms solutions, and have a working knowledge of Voice over IP.
